Ardis Eileen Zabel, age 69, of Maple Crest, 150 N Douglas St, Ripon, passed away Wednesday evening, July 28, 2004, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1935, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Malzhan) Zabel. She graduated from high school, and had been a line worker at Ripon Foods for 50 years. Ardis loved car racing, baseball, the Packers, going on trips with her many friends, reading, gardening, bingo, and her 2 cats.
Ardis is survived by special friends, Sheryl, Kevin, Brittany & Camaron Rank of Ripon, Sharon & Eugene Miller of Ripon, Daisy & James Chase, and Fern; and sisters, Vilas Fude of Ripon and Elda Schmidt of Brownsville. Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service for Ardis E. Zabel will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2004, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Rev. Sandra Krynik will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fairwater Cemetery, Village of Fairwater. A memorial has been established in her name.
