Arlene M. Klawitter, age 67, of Ripon, WI, died early
Saturday morning, August 22, 1998, at the Parkview Care Center
Ripon, WI.
She was born March 9, 1931, in Mackford Township, Green Lake County. A daughter to Harry and Bertha Hannemen. Arlene graduated from Markesan High School. On September 9, 1961, she married Charles Klawitter. Arlene worked for the Ripon Foods Inc. for 39 years, retiring in 1997. She was presently a secretary for the Homer Agency of Ripon. She was a member of V.F.W., Post #5278, Auxiliary of Ripon. Arlene also sang for weddings, and was an avid country music fan, who traveled many miles to listen to Sweetwater and Heartland Bands.
She is survived by her mother-in-law, Margaret Prellwitz of. Fairwater, two brothers-in-law Gorden Kiawitter of Fairwater and Clifford Klawitter of Wittenberg, two sisters-in-law Lorraine Jacobitz of Fond du Lac and Betty Plath of Fairwater, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, two sisters, and her husband, Charles.
Funeral service and visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 1998, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home of Ripon. The funeral service will be at 5:00 P.M. The Reverend David Busker will be officiating. Visitation will be at 3:00 P.M., until the time of the service. A memorial has been established for Hospice Hope.
Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum, in Fond du Lac, WI.
