Arlynn Harms

Arlynn E. Harms, age 75, of Springbrook Rd, died Monday, January 13, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born July 5, 1921, in Hartford, WI, a daughter to Alfred H. and Hilda A. (Hahn) Eimermann. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1939, and further graduated from Milwaukee College of Cosmetology in 1940, and was licensed in the state of Wisconsin. On April 7, 1945, she was united in marriage to Raymond Harms. She resided on the farm for 51 years. Arlynn was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, a member of Friendship Circle, and a 4-H Sewing Leader in the 4-H Club. She was a homemaker, beautician, and worked in the Equity Livestock office for 20 years. Arlynn was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, the out-of-doors, traveling, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond H. Harms of Ripon; three daughters, Gail (Jeff) Clarke of Houston, TX, Lynne (Mark) Dehn of Beaver Dam, WI, and Jean Harms of Ripon; one sister, Betty (Hubert) Rohde of Ripon; three grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon) Davis of Akron, OH, Karalyn Dehn and Mitchell Dehn of Beaver Dam, WI, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evangeline Weiss.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 16, 1997, at 11:30 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Pastor David Busker will officiate. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Immanuel United Methodist Church and the American Lung Association.
