Arnold F. Alvin, age 77, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on August 8, 1984, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
Arnold was born August 20, 1907, in Wautoma, WI, the son of Adolph and Emma (Tetzlaff) Alvin. He married Marie Wallace on July 9, 1983 and worked as a carpenter for 45 years. Arnold was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, Green Lake Rotary, Green Lake School Board for 18 years and was a building inspector for the Town of Brooklyn for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; two sons, Robert and David both of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Elaine Thrall of Gig Harber, WA; four step-sons, James Wallace of Berlin, WI, John Wallace of Berlin, WI, Thomas Wallace of Berlin, WI and Gerald Wallace of Green Lake, WI; three step-daughters, Judy (Dennis) Schey of Wautoma, WI, Kathryn (David) Darnick of Berlin, WI and Mary Lou (Charles) Seaman of Berlin, WI; six step-grandchildren and one brother, Wilton Alvin of Green Lake, WI. He was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and his first wife, Ruth Hallman.
Visitation for Arnold will be held on Friday, August 10, 1984, from 3 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Arnold will be held on Saturday, August 11, 1984, at 2:00 pm at Our Saviours United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
