Arnold "Arnie" Scheps

Arnold “Arnie” Fredrick Scheps, age 87, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Arnie was born on September 24, 1934 in Turtle Lake, WI, the son of Adolf and Susanna (Luedke) Scheps. He graduated from Turtle Lake High School. Arnie was born a farmer and was later employed at Speed Queen in Ripon, WI where he worked for over 20 years. He has been a devoted member of Ripon Baptist Church since 1979. Arnie enjoyed hunting, traveling, and loved to cut and trim trees.
Arnie is survived by his loving friend, Ethel Scheps; his children, Steve (Debra) Scheps of Ripon, WI, Susan Bednarcyk of Rice Lake, WI, Sherman (Brenda) Scheps of Lapeer, MI, and Robert Scheps of Snellville, GA; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dora Rockow of Barren, WI; and many nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolf and Susanna Scheps; a son, Larry Scheps; four brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation for Arnie will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Ripon Baptist Church, 635 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI, 54971.
Funeral service for Arnie will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Ripon Baptist Church in Ripon with Rev. Joshua J. Sherman officiating. A private family inurnment will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Fairwater Cemetery, Fairwater, WI. A memorial is being established in Arnie's name.
