Arthur Muenster

Arthur c. Muenster, age 89, of Ripon, WI, died Tuesday, September 7, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born May 28, 1908, in Appleton, a son of Arthur and Luella (Limpert) Muenster. He was educated in the Appleton Schools, and in 1927, he married the former Genevieve Schantz. In his early years, Art was in the retail shoe business for 16 years, and later served for 34 years with the Ripon Savings & Loan acting as President and Chairman of the Board. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Art had been active in the Ripon Rotary for over 50 years and served as President from 1950 – 1951.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol (Robert) Leu of Marshfield; four grandchildren, Katherine (Charles) Bubolz, Steven (Becky) Leu, Patricia (Dan) Kinateder and James (Donna) Leu; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
A memorial service for Arthur C. Muenster will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon at 11 am, Friday, October 10, 1997, with the Reverend Paul Holte officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, from 9:30 am until the time of the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in his name.
