Arthur Steifner, age 31, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, May 14, 1954, in the Town of Granveille, WI, as a result of an automobile accident.
Arthur was born September 21, 1922, in Rio Creek, WI, the son of William Steifner. He married Helen Pollack on October 17, 1942, in Ripon. Arthur was a truck driver for Speed Queen in Ripon. He spent three years in the Army receiving his honorable discharge in 1945. Arthur was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; five children, Darlene, Donna Mae, David, Dennis and Diane all of the Town of Ripon; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gaulke of Red Wing, MN; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Schmidt of Thiensville, WI, Mrs. Frost Larson of Gillett, WI and Miss Marjorie Topp of Algoma, WI and one brother, Warren of Algoma, WI. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 16, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Arthur will be held on Monday, May 17, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Evangelical United Brethern Church in Ripon with The Reverends C.A. Bender and Theodore Jordan officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
