Arthur Waltenberry

Arthur J. Waltenberry, age 80, of Ripon, WI, passed away on March 30, 1987, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Arthur was born December 24, 1906 in Waupun, WI, the son of Archibald and Dora (Lupton) Waltenberry. He was a farmer up until 1973. On August 16, 1941, he married Grace Loop in Fond du Lac. Arthur was a member of the Ripon Oddfellows #144 for over 50 years and currently is the Noble Grand. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, past school board member of Locust School and member of Ripon Drum and Bugle Corps, member of the Pillar Encampment of Fond du Lac and of Rebekahs #195.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; five sons, John of Wisconsin Rapids, Bernard of Redgranite, James of North Prairie, Richard of Ripon and Archie of Rosendale; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Margie Prellwitz of Ripon, Margaret Turnow of Ripon and Louise Prellwitz of Ripon. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Visitation for Arthur will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 1987, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Rebekah and Odd Fellow Service at 8:00 pm.

Funeral Service for Arthur will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 1987, at 2:00 pm at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with The Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will take place at Cattaraugus Cemetery in the Town of Waupun.
