Arthur Zeatlow

October 4, 1925 — March 23, 2005

Arthur August Zeatlow, 79, 320 North Lockin St, Brandon, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Waupun Memorial Hospital in Waupun.

He was born October 4, 1925, in the Town of Metomen, son of Richard and Esther (Smith) Zeatlow. He attended Dakota School, and worked as a farm hand. He later worked at American Stores in Fairwater and when he retired, he worked at the Recycling Center in the Village Brandon. On April 19, 1975, he married Joan Angle. Arthur lived most of his life in Brandon. He loved being outdoors working in his garden, and planted potatoes, vegetables and gourds for the family. He did woodworking and sold lots of his work. Arthur enjoyed mowing the lawn and snowblowing.

Survivors include his wife, Joan of Brandon; 5 brothers, Lester of Wautoma, Charles of Montello, and Robert, John & David of Beaver Dam; 3 sisters, Evelyn Krinkey & Mae Poetter of Beaver Dam, and Grace Yaap of Packwaukee; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Edward, Lawerance & Donald; and 2 sisters, Edna & Mary.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Rev. Mark R. West officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery, Brandon. A memorial has been established.
