Arvid M. White, age 76 of Eldorado, WI, passed away Friday, May 21, 1993, at his home.
He was born July 29, 1916, in the Town of Rosendale, the son of John and Carrie (Klas) White. He was educated in Dodd School, Town of Rosendale and Cambria High School. He has resided in the Town of Eldorado the last 53 years. On February 24, 1940, he married Ruth A. Manzke in the Town of Eldorado. Mr. White had farmed and was also a milk hauler. He was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church of Rogersville. Arvid was an avid bowler and card player.
In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by one son, Warren (Nancy) White of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Karen (Terry) Madigan of Rosendale and Bonnie (Jim) Friess of Eldorado; fourteen grandchildren; 2 step-granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren and three step-great-granchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Hiram of Fond du Lac, and two sisters, Jeanette Gove of Randolph and Vivian Dobbs of North Fond dud Lac. Preceding him in death were three grandsons, Thomas J., Peter and Paul, three sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 1993, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Rogersville. The Reverend Bruce Buslaff of Rosendale will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. Visitation is Sunday from noon until the time of servies at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice or St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.
