Audrey Haasch, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Audrey was born February 9, 1936, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Luedke) Tetzlaff of Ripon. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to attend two years at Fond du Lac Vocational School. She was united in marriage to Jerome Haasch on August 1, 1963 in Waukegan, IL. Audrey had her hat in many rings. She was an amazing wife and mother and also worked in several areas including: secretary, painting and wallpapering services, housecleaning services, and an elderly care provider. She worked for ten years as a secretary, four years at Ripon Community Printers, and eighteen years of housekeeping at various businesses in Madison, including The French House, West Towne Motor Inn, Park-Regent Medical Building, and private homes. Audrey attended Senior Center activities; she taught craft classes at the Tech and attended Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, and also Markesan Bible Church, Markesan. Audrey had many pets throughout her life and especially loved her cats. She enjoyed spending time at her campsite; working in her yard and gardening and she had a passion for making crafts and selling them around the community.
Survivors include her sons: Mark Haasch, Dodge, WI; Stefan (Jennifer) Haasch, Mellen, WI; and Drew (his love Deb) Haasch, Sun Prairie, WI; one brother, Donald Tetzlaff, Boise, ID; and one granddaughter, Ariel Haasch, Mellen, WI; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dorothy Tetzlaff; and her husband, Jerome Haasch.
Visitation for Audrey Haasch will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971, and again on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Service for Audrey Haasch will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Pastor Lee Snyder will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the City of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
