Audrey J. Nimmer, 77, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon, WI.
Audrey was born on November 6, 1933, in the Town of Springvale, WI, the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Zitlow) Wagner. She graduated from Rosendale High School and went on to get associate degrees from WITC, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Ashland, WI, and Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI.
Audrey was a self-employed tax accountant, and mother of four boys. On October 28, 1952, she married Donald Nimmer in Rosendale, WI. Audrey was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband Don of Ripon, WI, three sons, Doug (Catherine) Nimmer of Eau Claire, WI; Chuck (Carolina) Nimmer of San Francisco, CA; Jody (Angela) Nimmer of Mellen, WI, one daughter-in-law, Jill Nimmer of Pine River, WI, eight grandchildren, Jesse (Wendy), Bobbie Gail, Danielle, Nicholas, Nathan, Charlie, Calvin, and Tracy; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Hollander of Fredericksburg, VA. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Dennis Nimmer.
Visitation for Audrey J. Nimmer will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Audrey J. Nimmer will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, WI with the Reverend Bryan Fritsch officiating. Interment will be in Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale, WI. Memorials may be given, in her name to the Alzheimer’s Assn, Southeast, WI, 6130 West National Ave, Suite 200, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
