Audrey Mabel Theama, 82, of Ripon, passed away Sunday, October 07, 2007 at her home with her family at her side.
Audrey was born on April 17, 1925, in Racine, WI, the daughter of William and Ella Bertha (Gloede) Mahoney. She attended Horlick High School in Racine. On July 20, 1946, Audrey married Charles N. Theama at St. Rita’s in Racine. The couple made their home in Racine, and then moved to Ripon in 1971. Audrey was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Theama, one son; Daniel (Patty) Theama of Fond du Lac, four daughters; Linda Theama of Oshkosh, Ellen (Jackie) Theama of Fond du Lac, Susan (Randy) Tesch of Ripon, and Mary Kay (Terry) Schlaver of Greenville, nine grandsons; Michael and Jeffery Grapentine, Scott (Katie) Grapentine, Jeremy, Andrew, and Jason Tesch, David and Thomas Theama, and Justin Schlaver, seven granddaughters; Tamara (Dan) Stevenson, Tracy, Terry, Karla, Heather, and Danielle Theama, and Melissa Schlaver, three great-granddaughters; Emma and Abigail Theama, and Caylynn Tesch, a sister; Lillian Vogelman, and a brother; Willis (Shirley) Mahoney, as well as other near relatives and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her son; Robert Theama, a grandson; Chad Theama, a sister; Viola Vogelman, and two brothers; Marvin and Marlo Mahoney.
Visitation for Audrey M. Theama will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 4:00-7:30pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A Prayer Service will follow at 7:30pm. Visitation will again take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 218 Blossom St. in Ripon.
Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey M. Theama will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 218 Blossom St. in Ripon with Father Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
