Augusta Gneiser, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 1955, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Augusta was born on August 27, 1876, in Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Gustave and Louisa (Miller) Ristau. She attended Ripon Public Schools. On February 17, 1897, Augusta married William Gneiser.
Survivors include two sons, Gordon of Ripon and Roger of Milwaukee; one brother, John Ristau of Ripon; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 15, 1955, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Augusta will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 1955, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church with The Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
