Augusta Kloehn

Augusta M. Kloehn, age 80, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 1955 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Radke.

Augusta was born in Eureka, WI on July 11, 1874, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Kunde) Botteen. She has lived in the Ripon area all of her life. On October 15, 1893 she married Emil Kloehn in Ripon.

Augusta is survived by two sons, Fred Kloehn of Pickett, WI and Emil Kloehn of Ripon, WI; five daughters, Mrs. Oscar Radke of Ripon, WI, Mrs. Ben Huebl of Oshkosh, WI, Mrs. Paul Widlake of Ripon, WI, Mrs. Fred Redman of Fond du Lac, WI, and Mrs. Ida Jensen of Ripon, WI; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Cook of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Kloehn; and two sons.

Visitation for Augusta will be held from 12:00 pm on Sunday, February 27, 1955 until 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 1955 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.

Funeral service for Augusta will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
