Augusta Amelia Manthei, age 80, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Augusta was born July 24, 1876, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of August and Augusta (Krause) Manthei. She worked for many years at Ripon Knitting Works. Augusta was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include five nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call on Thursday, July 28, 1956, after 3:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Augusta will be held on Friday, July 29, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
