Augusta Kobernick, age 85, of Waupun, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 1955, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Augusta was born March 16, 1870, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Ernest and Henrietta (Lietz) Splittgerber. She was educated in Ripon Public Schools. Augusta married Walter Kobernick. She was a member of the Congo Church in Waupun.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ida Mathwig of Ripon and Mrs. John H. Holcomb of Forth Worth, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter who died in 1946.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 29, 1955, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Augusta will be held on Friday, December 30, 1955, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Ralph V. Austin officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
