Augusta Pauline Thada, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 1955 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Augusta was born in Manchester, WI on September 3, 1871, the daughter of Karl and Karoline (Thiel) Thada. On August 26, 1888, she married Frederick Wilhelm Thada in Manchester, WI. She has resided in Ripon for over 50 years.
Augusta is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Hammen of Ripon, WI; two sons, Arthur of Brandon, WI and Herbert of Arlington, VA; three grandchildren, Lila Primrose of Algonuqin, IL, Jane Thompson of Chapel Hill, NC and Grace Thada of Arlington, VA; and two great-grandchildren, Paul and Wendy Primrose of Algonquin, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederica Thada and an infant son.
Visitation for Augusta will be held from 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 1955 until 10:30 am on Saturday, May 28, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Augusta will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 29, 1955 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Esterbrook Cemetery, Fond du Lac, WI.
