Augusta Gerth Trapp, age 88, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Friday, November 27, 1953, in the Town of Utica.
Augusta was born July 4, 1865, in Germany, the daughter of Henry (Nenno) Gerth. She lived in Milwaukee and then moved to the Pickett area and lived for 42 years. On February 1, 1890, Augusta married August Trapp in Menomonee Falls, WI. She was a member of the Ladies Aid of Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. William Prellwitz of Ripon, Mrs. Otto Rusch of Eldorado, mrs. Fred Plantz of Fisk and Mrs. William Katzur of Pickett; two sons, George Trapp of Oshkosh and William Trapp of Fisk; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and her sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, November 29, 1953, after 12:00 noon at the William Katzur residence in Pickett.
Funeral Service for Augusta will be held on Tuesday, November 31, 1953, at 2:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett with The Reverend E.F. Lochner officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
