Barbara “Barb” A. Grahn, age 88, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Ripon Community Hospital.

Barb was born in Boston, MA on July 10, 1936, daughter of Russell and Sarah (Levis) Turner. She graduated from Memorial High School in Middleborough, MA in 1954, and on June 27, 1959, she married Wayne Grahn. They moved to Ripon in 1967, and Barb worked as a CNA at Parkview Nursing Home for many years. She was an active member of Ripon Baptist Church before her health declined. In her spare time, Barb enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, and in her younger years, making ceramics. More than anything she cherished time spent with her family and friends.

Barb is survived by her daughters, Patricia Hoehn of Appleton, WI, Dorothy (Jim) Berry of Columbus, NE, Kathleen Grahn of Oshkosh, WI, and Jennifer Grahn of Cincinnati, OH; sons, James Grahn of Los Angeles, CA and Andrew (special friend, Juanita) Grahn of Spooner, WI; four grandchildren, Sam, Tim, Michael, and Makayla; a brother, Richard (Jeanie) Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Sarah Turner; her husband, Wayne Grahn in 1995; two brothers, George and James Turner; in-laws, Christian and Jesse Grahn; and a son-in-law, Jim Hoehn.

Per Barb’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Inurnment will take place at Bluffton Cemetery at a later date.

Barb’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Whispering Pines for their wonderful care this past year.
