Barbara Ouellette, age 68, of Marquette, died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born April 18, 1931 in Naperville, IL, a daughter to Henry and Helen (Sackett) Heydon. She was a graduate of Naperville High School, Class of 1949 and a 1953 graduate of Iowa State Teachers College. On August 14, 1967 she married John Ouellette, Sr. Barbara taught math and phy ed for 15 years in Iowa and Massachusetts, and moved to Green Lake in 1977, where she and her husband managed the Goose Blind. In 1994 they moved to Marquette. She was a member of St Joseph’s Church of Markesan.
She is survived by her husband, John Ouellette, Sr of Marquette; 3 daughters, Kathleen Callen of Ripon, Judith (Michael) Cramer of Hanover, MA and Rosemary Ouellette of Salem, MA; 2 sons, Mark (Sharon) Ouellette of Beverly, MA and John Ouellette, Jr. of FL; and 8 grandchildren, John and David CaIlen, Jennifer, Maggie and Peter Cramer, and Christopher, Daniel and Sarah Ouellette. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 1999, from 4 until 6:30 PM, with a Rosary at 6:30, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 22 at 8:30 AM at St Joseph’s Church in Markesan with the Rev. Richard D. Lesniak officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Village of Marquette.
