Beatrice Cors

Beatrice M. Cors, 89, of Ripon, died Friday, February 9, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center.

On April 5, 1906, Beatrice was born the daughter of the late Frank and Cora (Abbs) Dilts in Wautoma, WI. She graduated from Wautoma High School and Whitewater Teacher’s College, graduating in 1927. On January 16, 1930, she married Lyle Cors. In 1942, they moved to Ripon. In 1948, she started working at the Ripon Public Library as a librarian until 1974. Beatrice was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ripon, Ripon Science Club, Educational Club of Ripon, South Woods Park Association, Ripon Historical Society and the Friends of the Library.

Beatrice is survived by one son, Paul Cars of Laramie, WY; three grandchildren, Michael Anderson of Madison (and special friend, Pat), Linda (Steven) Schiefelbein of Phoenix, AZ, Kathryn (Jerome) Lammer of Glendale, AZ; two great grandchildren, Jennifer and Mark Schiefelbein of Phoenix, AZ; one son—in—law, Frank Anderson; two nephews, Dr. Norbert A. (Louise) Dahlke, Charles F. (Barbara) Dahlke; four nieces, Dr. Anita B. Dahlke, Shirley Erickson, Sandra (John) Van Rhyn, Joan (Howard) Maichen. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle, one daughter, Virginia Anderson, her parents, one sister, Bernice Dahlke, two brothers, Clifford and Elwyn Dilts.

Funeral services for Beatrice will be held on Tuesday,
February 13, 1996, at 2 P.M. at the Butzin—Marchant Funeral
Home in Ripon with the Rev. John N. Bixby, Jr. officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 13, 1996, from 1 P.M.
until the time of service at the Butzin—Marchant Funeral
Home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.

Memorials can be made out to the First Congregational Church of Ripon, South Woods Association or the Ripon Historical Society.
