Miss Beatrice lone Williams, age 96, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2000, at the Markesan Resident Home.
She was born December 15, 1903, in Kingston Township, Green Lake Co., a daughter to David Cadwallador and Emma Edith (Beahm) Williams. In May of 1926 she graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Chicago. After graduation she remained at the hospital as a registered nurse. She then served her country as a general duty nurse in the US Army during WWII, and received the rank of 2nd Lt.. She later did private home nursing care in Chicago and Milwaukee. After retiring from nursing, Beatrice moved to Green Lake, and owned and operated The Gift Shop downtown.
She is survived by her brother, Lyal D. (Bernice) Williams of Neenah. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Blance Irene Antoñen and Charlotte Malcom; and brother, Wayne G. Williams.
A private graveside service was held Friday, December 1, 2000, at Dartford Cemtery, Green Lake.
