Benjamin Franklin Barnes, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 1954, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Benjamin was born August 30, 1883, in Ripon, WI, the son of Benjamin Franklin Barnes, Sr. He worked at a variety of places including, Prout Livery in Chicago, Northwestern, R.R. and Garden City Pickle. On May 4, 1912, Benjamin married Amelia Steinke in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia; one brother, Louis Barnes of Warm Springs, Montana; half brother, Jay Hill of Ripon. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 29, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Benjamin will be held on Monday, August 30, 1954, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
