Benjamin Wegner

Benjamin Otto Wegner, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 1992, at the Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.

He was born April 8, 1906, in Alto, a son to Albert and Albertina (Kosanke) Wegner. He was educated in Ripon and worked for the Wisconsin State Canners in Pickett for 50 years. On June 1, 1935, he married Melva Seidler. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Wayne of Ripon and three grandchildren. One sister, Gladys West of West Allis also survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Services for Mr. Wegner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 1992, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow in the Nepeuskun Cemetery, in the Town of Nepeuskun. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Monday morning at the funeral home. A memorial in his name has been established for Our Saviours United Church of Christ.
