Bernadette Lubarsky, age 88, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
Bernadette was born December 16, 1923, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Emily (Rezek) Mazurowski. She graduated from High School in Chicago and went on to further her education to become a Registered Nurse. On April 17, 1948, Bernadette married Melvin (Bud) Lubarsky, in Chicago. Bernadette worked as an Obstetrician Gynecologist Nurse for 30 years at St. Michaels Hospital in Milwaukee. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Bernadette was also a member of American Legion Post 282 of Markesan.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette (James) Butzin; one brother, George Mazurowski; and is further survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members. Bernadette is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin (Bud) in 1984; brothers, John, Val and Joseph Mazurowski and one sister, Mercedes McKenna.
Visitation for Bernadette Lubarsky will be held Monday, September 10, 2012, from 10-12:00 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, 530 Ruth Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.
Mass of Christian Burial for Bernadette Lubarsky will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012, at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. Father Philip Krogman will officiate.
Visitation for Bernadette Lubarsky will also be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, from 11:00-12:30 pm at the Chapel of the Resurrection Cemetery, 9400 West Donges Bay Rd., Mequon, WI 53097. Prayers will be recited at 12:30 pm followed by interment.
Memorials may be directed to United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Wisconsin, 7519 West Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53219.
