Bernard Guldan, age 76, of W844 State Rd. 23/49, Green Lake, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at his home.
Bernard was born on September 15, 1930 in Lomira, WI, the son of Sebastian and Margaret (Wehrenberg) Guldan. He was educated in Fond du Lac, WI. Bernard served our country in the Army during the Korea Conflict from 1949-1952. On August 20, 1955 he married Marjorie Austin in Fond du Lac. He was an over road semi driver and owner of Bernies TV in Ripon. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon, Teamsters 200, Green Lake American Legion, National Wild Turkey Federation, and was past president of the Chamber of Commerce in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Guldan of Green Lake; daughter, Patrice Welch (fiancé Tom Bates) of Lawrenceville, GA; grandson, Brody Welch of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Beatrice (Gene) Weigelt of Mountain, WI, Katy (Ted) Rady and Margaret (Jake) Schommer both of Fond du Lac; brother, Roland (Shirley) Guldan of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and several nieces and nephews. Bernard is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Visitation for Bernard Guldan will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 Griswold St. Ripon.
Memorial Service for Bernard Guldan will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Sandra Krynik officiating. Inurnment will be held in Estabrooks Cemetery in Fond du Lac. A memorial has been established.
