Bernard Daniel McElroy, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 3, 1992, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born on November 11, 1905, in Waushara Co., to William and Julie (Schultz) MeElroy. On April 12, 1930 he married Elva Barnett and they have resided in Ripon since 1942. Mr. McElroy was educated in Berlin. He was a foreman and inspector at Speed Queen in Ripon for 30 years and was a member of the Speed Queen 25-Year Club. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
He is survived by his wife, Elva; three sons, Richard of Bean Station, TN, Russell (Betty) of Palos Verdes, CA and Robert (Carol) of Ripon; five grandchildren, Patrick, Russell, Lori, Guy and Richard; and, five great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Rebecca, Rachel, Christy and James. He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.
