Bernard Waters, 72, Town of Ripon, died Sunday, April 19, 1998 at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1925, in the Town of Ripon, a son to Nelson and Magdalen (Bed narek) Waters. He attended school in Green Lake. On September 1, 1946, he married Louise Lichtenberg in Ripon. Bernard had been a beekeeper for 40 years at the Waters Honey Farm, and had also worked for 20 years for the City of Ripon.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; 1 son, Dennis (Christine) Waters of Ripon; 3 daughters, Debra (Anthony) Kuharski of Ripon, Janice (David) Klawitter of Fond du Lac and Diane (Mike) Tiry of Ripon; and 10 grandchildren, Julie, Janel, Jennifer and Jacqueline Waters, Nathan, Matthew, Andy and Alex Kuharski, and Scott and Kelly Brezinsky. He is further survived by 1 sister, Alice (Anvin) Krueger of Pinole, CA; and 2 brothers, George Waters of TX and Leonard (Josephine) Waters of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.
Private services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A Memorial has been established in his name.
