Bernard Weckwerth

Bernard Weckwerth, age 80, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 1990, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 12, 1909, at Budsin, Marquette County, to Bertha (nee Dretzke) and Julius Weckwerth. He attended Normal School and was a rural school teacher. Mr. Weckwerth married Eloise Ziesmer on January 10, 1942, in Ripon. He was an Army Veteran of WWII in the European Theatre. He was a retiree of Green Giant Canning Company at Ripon and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise; his daughter, Janis (Virgil) Zills and his son, Randy (Nancy) Weckwerth; four grandchildren and two brothers, David and Dr. Arden Weckwerth both of Westfield.
Visitation for Bernard will be held on Friday, February 2, 1990, from 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Bernard will be held on Saturday, February 3, 1990, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate. Interment will follow in Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. A memorial is being established in his name.
