Bernice "Bee" Fisher

Bernice “Bee” Fisher, 89, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Webster Manor in Omro.

Bee was born on July 26, 1919 in the Town of Utica, WI, the daughter of David Arthur and Clara Desire (Fuller) Pugh. She attended high school in Oshkosh, and in 1937 she married Donald Fisher in Oshkosh. Bee was a housewife and worked along side her husband on their farm. She attended Countryside Christian Church, a member of several bowling leagues, and loved playing cards. Everyone who knew her called her Grandma Bee or “the Cookie Lady”.

Bernice is survived by her daughter, Jean (Clarence) Kolodzik, grandson Terry (Kris) Kolodzik; great-grandchildren, Alex, Noah, and Elaina Kolodzik; granddaughter, Connie (Bill) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Hanna Johnson; daughter Carol (Roger) Bartel; grandson, David (Diane) Bartel; great-grandchildren, Colton, Erin, and Cori Bartel; grandson, Darrin (Jennifer) Bartel; great-grandchildren, Katie, Courtnie, Megan and Zane Bartel; her son Frank (Rochelle) Fisher; grandson Paul Fisher; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Adam and Allison Fisher; grandson, Gary Fisher; granddaughter, Donna (Tim) Beck; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Holly Beck; her son Earl (Beth) Fisher; granddaughter, Debbie (Larry) Hanson; great-grandchildren, Cody, Chase, and Connor Hanson; granddaughter; Brenda (Kevin) Kasuboski; great-grand-children, Megan, Emily, and Justin Kasuboski; grandson, Brian (Wendy) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Jaclyn, Lauren and Bradley Fisher; and daughter Doris (Mark) Collier; grandson, Eric (Jamie) Bohn; and grandson Andy Collier; and one brother, Everett (Joyce) Pugh. Bee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald on December 2, 2007; three sisters, Carol Lewis, Irene Otto, and Miriam Fuhs; and two brothers, Willard and Orville Pugh.

Visitation for Bernice Fisher will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009, and again on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral service for Bernice Fisher will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with the Reverend Gregory C. Decker officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery, in the Town of Utica. Memorials can be given to Countryside Christian Church for the Building Fund in her name. The family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor in Omro and the Heartland Hospice Hope staff, for all the kindness and loving care given to Bee.
