Mrs. Bernice O. Ferg, 67, of Route #1, Green Lake, died Wednesday, August 16, 1989, at home.

She was born October 12, 1921, in Oshkosh to Arthur and Selma Krenke Dahms. On June 28, 1941, she married Alvin Ferg.

Mrs. Ferg was educated in Oshkosh. She was a housewife and had lived in the Town of Brooklyn since 1973. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon and was an officer of the Green Lake Farm Bureau.

Survivors include two sons, David of Lake Bluff, IL and Robert of Chippewa Falls, WI; one daughter, Dianne Navta of Upper Montclair, New Jersey; six grandchildren; her mother, Selma Dahms of Oshkosh; two sisters, Marjorie Staerkel of Appleton and Charlotte Youngwirth of Oshkosh; two brothers, LeRoy Dahms of Oshkosh and Richard Dahms of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Preceding her in death were her husband on March 17, 1979, and her father.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:30 pm at the Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. The Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 pm until the hour of the service at the church.

On Saturday, visitation will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. A private family interment will follow. A memorial for Hospice Hope has been established.
