Mrs. Bernice Marie Nook, 85, of 50 Wolverton Ave., Ripon, died Thursday, October 6, 1988, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born October 8, 1902, in the Town of Henrietta, Richland County, to Eugene and Alice Hammond Cratsenberg. On February 11, 1929, she married John Nook. He preceded her in death on September 29, 1964.
Mrs. Nook was educated in Richland Center and Madison. She resided in the Rosendale area since 1929. She was a housewife. Mrs. Nook was a member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eldorado.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Loretta) Voelker of Ripon. One brother and one son preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 – 8:00 pm, Sunday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, at 1:30 pm at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eldorado. Interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale.
