Bernice D. (Schumacher) Radliff, 83, of Ripon, died Tuesday, October 21, 1997 at her home.
She was born December 23, 1913, in Crandon, WI, a daughter to Lewis and Ida (Baken) Schumacher. She was educated in Crandon. Bernice married Earl Radliff in December 1929, and they made their home in Milwaukee where she worked in the book bindery for The Hind Company. In later years she has lived in Ripon where she attended Immanuel United Methodist Church. She worked at the Ripon Thrift Store and enjoyed doing volunteer work very much.
She is survived by 3 sons, Robert (June) Radliff of Milwaukee, Richard (Ruth) Radliff of Ripon and Kenneth (Mary Jane) Radliff of Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren, Diana Jordan, Dawn (Robert) Graf, Doreen (Russ) Drezdon, Robert Radliff, Jr., Darwin (Debbie) Radliff, Peggy Radliff, Kenneth (Kelly) Radliff, Jr., Christine (Jim) Garton, Pam Donaldson, Debra (Robert) Sherman, Lynn (Jerry) Posey, Kim (Kelly) Radliff and MelliSa Radliff and 23 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by 1 sister, Vanda Jackson of Crandon and I brother, Harold (Valercia) Schumacher of CA; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and special friends, Donna Lloyd, Helen Marcus and Sharon Brell. Other family and friends will greatly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Radliff, 1 son, Eugene Radliff, I daughter, Alice Mae Radliff, and 2 sisters, Marie Henderson and Leona Tinsman.
Funeral service for Bernice Radliff will be Thursday, October 23, 1997, at 1 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Pastor David Busker officiating. Friends may call Friday from Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee. A Memorial has been established.
