Mrs. Bernice Lucille Stapel, 79, formerly of Rosendale, died Friday, May 19, 1989, at Americana Healthcare Center, Fond du Lac, WI.
She was born June 17, 1909, in Rosendale, a daughter to Erwin and Hulda Siebenhaar Morgan. On November 8, 1932, she married Frank Stapel. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1972.
Mrs. Stapel was educated in Rosendale and was a graduate of Oshkosh Business College. She resided in Rosendale and in Beaver Dam. She was a housewife.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas of Ripon and Richard of Alamogordo, NM; one daughter, Arlis Moses of Cedarburg, WI; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Lyson Morgan of Omro and one sister, Marquerite Schwandt of Ripon.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 1989, at 7:00 pm, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend Dean Peterson will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Rosendale Cemetery.
