Bert E. Lynch, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Bert was born August 22, 1884, in Worthington, MN, the son of Thomas and Emily (Clark) Lynch. He was educated in Worthington and Ripon High School. Bert married Clara Berg on October 7, 1916, in Milwaukee. He was a retired Postal Clerk. Bert was active in Ripon bowling circles for over 1/2 of a century. He also was a golfing and fishing enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Clara; two sons, Major, Clyde M. Lynch, USAF of Hawaii and Lee E. Lynch of Ripon; one daughter, Mrs. William Baum of Menlow Park, CA and two grandsons, Bruce and Kent Baum. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call on Monday, July 2, 1956, after 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Bert will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon with The Reverend Victor M. Rhein, DD officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
