Bertha Habel, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 1987, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Bertha was born July 30, 1894, in Green Lake County, WI, the daughter of Carl and Bertha (Keller) Prellwitz. On March 4, 1919, she married Herbert Habel and he died in 1965. Bertha was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include one son, Val of Sun City, Arizona and one granddaughter. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Bertha will be held on Sunday, February 8, 1987, from 4 – 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Bertha will be held on Monday, February 9, 1987, at 1:30 pm at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
