Bertha Whitney, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 1956, at her home.
Bertha was born May 20, 1877, in the Town of Rosendale, WI, the daughter of Carl and Wilhelmina (Kloehn) Wollitz. She married Warren Clark Whitney on September 26, 1900.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Whiting of Ripon; two sons, Glenn Whitney of Rosendale Center and Walter of Ripon and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 25, 1956, after 6:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Bertha will be held on Friday, January 27, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Douglas O. Anderson officiating. Interment will take place at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale.
