Bertha Zimmerman

Mrs. Bertha Zimmerman, age 96, of Fish Hatchery Road, Madison, WI, died Saturday, June 21, 1986 in Madison.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born on March 27, 1890, a daughter to Robert Martin and Charlotte Tabert Weckwerth in Manchester. On December 1, 1909 she was married to Herman Zimmerman. She was educated in Green Lake where she lived most of her life and was a seamstress. She was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church, Green Lake.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Veta Deibert of Madison, WI, Mrs. Ruth McMahon of CA and Mrs. Rachel Herman of Oak Park, IL; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 28, 1960; two sisters; and a brother.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23, 1986 at 1:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church, Green Lake. Rev. Warren Granke will officiate. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Friends may call Monday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the church.
