Betty Jaber, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014, at Ripon Medical Center.

Betty was born November 28, 1922, in Ripon, the daughter of Ray and Susan (Dugenske) Sterlinske. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1939. On May 10, 1941, Betty married Henry Jaber in Ripon. Betty was a member of the American Legion Brown-Parfitt Post #43 and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was a 17 year volunteer at the Senior Center and a grandparent at the elementary school. Betty enjoyed watching children, sewing, reading, being a caregiver to anyone that needed her and loved and greatly contributed to her community.

Survivors include her two sons, Allan Jaber of Ripon, WI and Ray Jaber of Madison, WI; three grandchildren, David Jaber of Berkeley, CA, Robyn Story of LaCrosse, WI and Andrew Jaber of Madison, WI; four great-grandchildren, Alexis and Ariana Story both of LaCrosse, WI and Ethan and Lia Jaber both of Madison, WI and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Jaber, son, Dennis, daughter, Sandy and brother, Ray.

Visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014, from 9 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 East Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be given to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
