Betty L. Johnston, age 72, of Ripon, WI, (formerly of Chicago), passed away on Sunday, May 19, 1957, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Betty was born March 7, 1885, in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of August and Pauline (Werdin) Badtke. She was educated at Dakin School in Green Lake County. On July 24, 1919, Betty married Robert L. Johnston in Crown Point, Indiana. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter #840 in North Shore, Chicago, IL.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Ripon, WI; two brothers, Otto W. Badtke of Platte City, MO and Edward Badtke of Ripon, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 21, 1957, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Betty will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 1957, at 2:30 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon, WI.
