Betty Jean Liptow, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Betty was born March 30, 1927, in Portage, the daughter of Melvin and Frieda (Dennis) Price. She graduated from Portage High School, and on December 12, 1953 married Erlyn “Shorty” Liptow and became a housewife. Betty was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, a member of the Golden Girls, and loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers.
Survivors include her children, Randy Liptow of Phoenix, AZ and his fiancée, Debbie Bitters and Roger (Sherry) Liptow of Fairwater. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Frieda; her husband, Erlyn; and her three sisters.
Visitation for Betty Liptow will be held Monday, June 6, 2016, from 10 – 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Service for Betty Liptow will be held Monday, June 6, 2016, at 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Pastor Kimberly Stowell will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
