Betty Morgan

Betty Jean Morgan, age 88, of Green Lake, passed away peacefully at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon on Saturday, October 7, 2006 after a short stay following a hip injury.

Betty was born in Pawpaw, IL. on June 29, 1918, the daughter of Mae (Miller) and Ernest Risetter, she was an only child. Ernest died at an early age and Mae married Berwyn Helm of Beloit, WI. Betty spent most of her early life in Beloit where she and her future husband Sidney met while attending Beloit College. She completed 2 years of college and married Sidney on August 26, 1942. Together they had two daughters Lynn and Mary. She was a stay at home mom who just loved being a wonderful mother and a loving devoted wife to Sidney for 63 yrs.

Betty loved her family, taking walks, doing yard work, swimming, boating and loved all animals, especially her 2 cats Brown & Felix. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn (Tom) Mulder Homosassa, Fl. and Mary Libby Green Lake, WI. Four wonderful grandsons, Scott (Joanna) Mulder of Odessa, Fl., Todd (Laurie) Mulder of Tampa FL, Bill Libby of Green Lake and Jeff Libby of Madison, WI. She also was a great grandmother of Justin, Alyssa and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father and her husband, Sidney, who passed away August, 14; 2004.Betty was a wonderful kind and loving person who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her and especially her loving family.

Visitation for Betty Morgan will be held on Tuesday October10, 2006 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.

Funeral Service for Betty Morgan will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2006 at 5:00 p.m., at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Reverend Karen Gygax-Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford cemetery Green Lake. Memorial maybe given in her name to St. Agnes Hospice Hope Foundation, 430 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, WI. 54935.
