Betty Vande Brink

Betty L. Vande Brink, 57, of Brandon, passed away at Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

Betty was born on March 10, 1951, the daughter of Junice H. Straks, at home in the Town of Trenton. She graduated from Brandon High School, and on July 25, 1969 she married Michael J. Vande Brink in Brandon. Betty was a member of the Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon.

Survivors include, her husband, Michael J. Vande Brink of Brandon; two daughters, Paula L. (John) Richter, and Pamela M. (Tony) Sauer, both of Brandon; one son, Kyle M. (Katie) Vande Brink of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Kathleen J. Cole of Sun Prairie, and Diane S. Umbarger of Ripon; two brothers, Keith C. Vande Berg of Madison, and Ken D. Vande Berg of Brandon; six grandchildren, Britney L. Richter, Adam J. Richter, Cayla J. Sauer, Breiana M. Sauer, Logan A. Sauer all of Brandon, and Shaelynn Stobbe of Markesan; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Shirley Vande Brink of Brandon; a very special sister-in-law, Pat Vande Berg of Waupun. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Junice H. Vande Berg ; one brother, Larry J. Vande Berg, one sister, Donna M. Daane, one brother-in-law, Bill W. Umbarger and one sister-inlaw, Terrie Vande Berg.

Visitation for Betty L. Vande Brink will be held from 4 to 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon on Friday, July 11, 2008. There will also be a visitation from 3 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon.

Funeral Service for Betty L. Vande Brink will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon with the Reverend Thomas Te Beest (Assistant Pastor) officiating. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery, Village of Brandon. A memorial has been established in her name.

Betty’s passion to care for others, her beautiful smile and her overall dedication as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend shall be a memory in which will never fade.
