Betty Lou Witkowski, age 87, of Neenah, WI, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah.
Betty was born February 17, 1929, in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Paul and Elsie (Davis) Rosenthal. She graduated from Berlin High School. On July 4, 1953, Betty married Bernard Valentine Witkowski in Ripon. Her passion was crocheting blankets for Project Linus and gifts for family and friends. Betty loved doing puzzles, baking, feeding her birds but most of all she loved her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her.
Survivors include her children, Janet (Larry) Searl, Mark (Jill) Witkowski, Robert (Carla) Witkowski and Nancy (John) Mulvey; grandchildren, Tony (Tina) Searl, Luke (Rachel) Searl, Aaron (Vanessa) Witkowski, Bryan (Lisa) Witkowski, Jesse Witkowski, Molly (Mark) Van Handel, Jake (Stephanie) Miller, Jack Witkowski, Maggie (special friend, Kegan) Witkowski, Jonathan Mulvey and McKenna Mulvey; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Tristan Miller, Riley and Jack Van Handel, Morgan, Maya and Nolan Witkowski and Brynn and Taylor Witkowski. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elsie Rosenthal; husband, Bernard Ben; son, James; sister, Margie (DuWayne Duke) Monday and brother, David Bud (Delores) Rosenthal.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 10 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Betty will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
