Beulah Benkoski

Beulah Benkoski, age 96, passed away at Appleton Health Care in Appleton, WI, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, with family by her side.
Beulah was born in the town of Rosendale on May 29, 1917, to Charles and Daisy (Morgan) Hyde. She was a graduate of Ripon High School and Fountain City Business College in Fond du Lac. She was employed at Speed Queen Company as an executive secretary for 45 years. Beulah married Clarence Benkoski on July 27, 1946. They owned the B&B Super Club in Appleton. He preceded her in death in 1994. Over the years, Beulah’s passion was to take care of others wherever she was living. She loved to cook and was always clipping endless recipes. She enjoyed playing piano and the organ.
She is survived by three children: Karen (Wayne) Witz of Menasha, WI; Lynn (Donna) Benkoski of Greendale; Jean (David) Augsburger of Edgar Springs, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Lisa Witz (Jerry Mallon) of Oshkosh; and Brian (Laura) Witz of Kimberly; Lesley Benkoski (Bill Edwards) of Menasha; Daniel Benkoski of Milwaukee; and Amy (Desmond) Stoll of Sacramento, CA. Great grandchildren: Brenna and Madison Witz, and Aaden and Olivia Stoll. She is also survived by her sister Lois Page of Ripon; and sister-in-law, Florence Benkoski of Ripon; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister; Floy Hyde and in-laws, Glen Page, Stanley Benkoski, and Kay and Gordon Jenks all of Ripon and Leonard and Fran Benkoski of Oshkosh.
Visitation for Beulah Benkoski will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 10:00-11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
A prayer service for Beulah Benkoski will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Father William Whalen will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
The family would like to offer their thanks to the staff at Appleton Health Care for always trying to make our mom comfortable in all the pain she endured and for their kindness shown to her. A special thank you to Mary and Sister Margaret for the time they spent with mom.
