Bonnie L Howell, age 54, of Ripon passed away Saturday October 29, 2005 at her home.
She was born December 8, 1950, in Kewaunee, WI, the daughter of Clifford and Laverne (Peterson) Baye. Bonnie was educated in Kewaunee High School, School of Nursing at Oshkosh, and Marion College. On September 1, 1972, she married James Howell. They were happily married for over 30 years. Bonnie worked many years at Ripon Medical Center. The last 5 years of her nursing career were spent at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Bonnie assisted in putting many procedures into place as the Director of various departments. Bonnie was a member of Our Saviours Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughter, Pepper Howell and special friend Carlton Huth, Son, Matt Howell (Tina Clark fiancée) of Oshkosh; Granddaughters, Molly Andrew of Oshkosh and Piper James of Ripon; mother, Laverne Baye of Green Bay; brothers, Paul (Col. Suzanne Beers) Baye of Colorado and Phil (Linda) Baye of Green Bay; sister Joan (Leonard) Shefchik and many family and close friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by father and husband James on April 2004.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2005 from 4-8 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant funeral home, Ripon. Visitation will also be at the church one hour before services. Funeral service for Bonnie Howell will be Friday, November 4, 2005, at 11a.m. at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon. Rev. Mark R. West will officiate. Interment will be in Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery, town of Metomen. In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
