Bonnie Peterson, age 70, of Ripon, went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 15, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born on June 5, 1944, in Kingston, a daughter of Richard and Elsie (Lueck) Plath. Bonnie loved spending time with her family and working outside on her flowers and lawn. She was always there to listen and help in any way she could, this made her a special “Grandma” to her family and to so many of the families’ friends.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Roger of Ripon; son, Wayne (Kelly) Glover of Rochelle, IL; daughter, Wanda (Greg) Disterhaft of Ripon; grandson, Tyler (Mallory) Glover of LaGrange, IL and granddaughters, Ashley Glover of Rochelle, IL, Courtney and Kylie Disterhaft of Ripon; two brothers, Russ (Betty) Plath of Buckley, IL, Richard “Shorty” Plath of Kingston, WI; three sisters, Darlene (Bob) Behling of Beaver Dam, WI, Yvonne (Jim) Meilahn and Leilani (Kerwin) Koehn both of Ripon, WI; sisters-in-law, Betty and Lois Plath; brother-in-law, Bill Doty; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elsie Plath; two brothers, Romie and Morris Plath and sisters, Susie Doty and Patsy Haima.
Visitation for Bonnie will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 5 – 7:00 pm at Terrace Shores Church, W3278 Cty Rd K, Markesan, WI 53946.
Memorial service for Bonnie will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 7:00 pm at Terrace Shores Church in Markesan. Reverend Gary Zacharias will officiate.
