Bonnie Louise Sharp, age 63, of 606 Sunset Circle, Ripon, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at her home.
She was born Sept 12, 1939, in Ripon, the daughter of Loren D. and Vivian (Zamzow) Nellis. Bonnie received her early education in Green Lake, and then graduated from Ripon High School. She then attended Ripon College and Business School in Milwaukee. On August 13, 1960, she married David W. Sharp at the Federated Church in Green Lake. At one time she had been employed at Bureau of Audio-Visual Instruction at UW-Madison. Bonnie was involved in Kiwanis, and was instrumental in the formation of Riponfest activities. She put a lot of her creative efforts into the Womens Club annual balls. Bonnie also had been a partner with Christine Kaufmann-Helfer in Interior Motives, a home improvement business. She recently started a class at Ripon College in Anthropology.
She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Meridith (Bill) Stephens and their sons, Westley & Aaron of Seminole, FL; son, Kevan (Julie) Sharp of Milwaukee; mother, Vivian Schoor of Ripon; brother, Daniel Nellis of Canada; and many loved ones.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Bonnie's cousin, the Rev. Michael Zamzow will officiate. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
