Bonnie Sylvester

Bonnie R. Sylvester, 73, of Ripon, died Thursday, February 8, 1996, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.

She was born August 16, 1922, in Monroe, Green Co., a daughter of the late Ben and Idella (O’Connor) Sylvester. She attended Ripon High School and Ripon College, and then after graduating from Mount Prospect Secretarial College in Milwaukee, Bonnie was a secretary for the Wisconsin School of Music of Madison. After her retirement in 1982, she moved back to Ripon. She was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon. She never married.

Bonnie is survived by 2 brothers, Si Sylvester of Ripon and Robert (Ann) Sylvester of Halfway, Oregon; I sister, Eileen Hall of Ripon; and 5 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 nephew, Brian Hall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, February 12, 1996, at 10:30 A.M. at St Patrick Catholic Church with Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will be in St Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 until 7 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the church.

Memorials will be given to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
